The Pompton Lakes Police Department does not solicit over the telephone. The only solicitation done by the Police Department is from the Officers of PBA Local 161. This solicitation is done through the mail, usually once annually. Calls from all other "law enforcement" organizations are done by telemarketing firms. These solicitations DO NOT benefit the Pompton Lakes Police Department or PBA Local 161 in any way. These telemarketers use high pressure tactics to get you to participate.
