The Wayne Health Department will begin COVID-19 vaccinations for those categorized in Phase 1A (see NJ’s Phased Approach to COVID-19 Vaccination: Phase 1A for a definition of Phase 1A) on Friday, January 8th at Former Macy’s Store, Preakness Shopping Center, Hamburg Turnpike & Alps Road Suite E01, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. Eligible patients must pre-register at www.waynetownship.com. Patients must have their driver’s license (or government-issued ID) and insurance information when registering. Patients without health insurance can also get COVID-19 vaccine at no cost.

To participate in the first phase of vaccinations, those that fall under the 1A category must pre-register prior to the vaccination date, walk-ins will not be permitted. The Moderna vaccine requires two (2) injections; those that get vaccinated will have to register and return for a second appointment approximately 28 days after the initial injection.
