After a year long study, assisted by the New Jersey Department of Transportation and Michael Baker International, Pompton Lakes has completed the Complete Streets Policy and Implementation Study, which will be considered by the Planning Board for adoption in 2020. Pompton Lakes would like to thank the Complete Streets Steering Committee for the participation in this planning process, and all the residents who shared their input and vision of making out community a better and safer place to bike and walk. 

In response to the overwhelming support for improving bicycle and pedestrian facilities in Pompton Lakes, the Pompton Lakes Borough Council passed a Complete Streets Policy on January 23, 2019. The policy can be viewed here.
