The Pompton Lakes Council, the Recreation Commission and the Municipal Alliance support and encourage teens to participate in the variety of activities that are provided by the Teen Center.

Boys and girls are permitted to begin using the Teen Center beginning the summer after grade 5 through grade 10.

The Teen Center is chaperoned at all times by at least two counselors 18 years of age or older. Registration is required at a yearly fee of $25. Snacks and drinks are also available at a minimal cost.

Activities

The Teen Center welcomes teens to come and visit the game room with two flat screen TVs, pool and ping pong table. The gym is available and open during the hours of operation for basketball, dodge ball, whiffle ball and soccer. Special events are offered during the year that include theme dances, movie nights and sports tournaments.

Adult Programs

The Teen Center offers adult men's basketball (17 - 23 years old) every Tuesday and Wednesday night from 8 - 10 p.m.
